I have to use heat on my hair and there is no way around it. How do I prevent excess damage?
A heat protectant is going to be your best bet! We have a product here, the ARROJO Protective Thickening Lotion, that is absolutely essential for high heat users! It also helps for people with finer hair because it thickens as it protects! Also make sure you are not putting the coils from the hair dryer directly onto your hair! Concentrator attachments on your hair dryer help with this issue.

Why does my color fade so quickly?
The first thing we always ask - what products are you using? Sorry ladies and gents, but Herbal Essence just does not cut it for color treated hair! It strips your hair of its color! You need a shampoo and conditioner that is specifically designed for color treated hair! We have plenty of specialty products for color-treated hair in the salon that are available for purchase!

I mainly straighten my hair, but I want body. How can I get it?
Once again, this is definitely lack of product usage! Our FAVORITE volume enhancer is the AQUAGE Uplifting Foam. It is amazing and works on all hair types! The ARROJO Styling Whip is also wonderful. With product and a little hair TLC, body shouldn't be a problem :)

What happens if I don't use salon quality products on my hair?
You pay for how you want your hair to look. If you don't really care about your hair health, then cheaper products like Suave and Herbal Essence are fine. If you want your how to look and feel its best, salon quality products are ESSENTIAL, like our lines ARROJO and REDKEN. What it comes down to is the better the product, the better your hair will look, feel, and style.

Is it okay to color my hair myself with an at-home box coloring system?
If you have to deny yourself of one thing in life, make it over-the-counter box coloring! One size does not fit all with color! What looks one color on the box will probably not look the same on you. Your hair will definitely feel the effects of boxed dye as well. Hair color is customized to each of our clients and you cannot get that with a boxed dye. We are certified and trained in coloring your hair and are here specifically to give you the color you want.
